Year 4 Autumn Term

In our quest to become budding scientists, we will dive deep into the mysteries of the digestive system and teeth, uncovering the incredible mechanisms that keep our bodies running smoothly.

But… that’s not all!

We will also be donning our explorer hats in geography, setting out to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of the United Kingdom, honing our map skills along the way. As budding artists, we will let our creativity soar as we experiment with colours, brushes, and palettes, drawing inspiration from the renowned artist David Hockney.

Get ready to compose and play musical performances with Mr. Crouch using the enchanting hand chimes – where musical magic awaits. We will also be unleashing our inner engineers to create incredible pneumatics, bringing to life moving monsters that will leave you in awe.

Brace yourselves for a term filled with curiosity, discovery, and creativity. Let’s embark on this incredible learning journey together!

We love to read and together we will be reading a variety of exciting and irresistible books.  This term our main texts are;  Voices in the Park and other stories by the author Anthony Browne and the incredible classic story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S.Lewis.
