School Council

Waddington All Saints School Council is a group of children who work together alongside staff, to help and organise school improvements. Every child has the opportunity to apply to be a class representative , the class then have the opportunity to vote for who they believe to be the best candidate. School Council work has included: organising charity days, improving playtimes, organising the book fair competitions, developing a welcome pack for new children and representing our school at LEAD multi-academy trust ‘Pupil Voice’ events.

Waddington All Saints Academy School Council is a group of pupils who work together alongside staff, to help organise school improvements, raise awareness and support hand chosen charities. Every child in KS2 (Y3-Y6) has the opportunity to apply to be a class representative. This process involves the pupils writing speeches, delivering them and the whole class voting for their chosen representatives.  School council work has included: organising charity days, raising awareness for different matters, carrying out pupil voice surveys and attending LEAD multi-academy trust pupil voice events on behalf of our academy.

Currently, we have 8 members of School Council for the Academic Year 2023-2024, from KS2, with the potential to expand its number of representatives.

Our chosen charities for this year are:

The Royal British Legion

St Barnabas

We have also chosen to raise awareness for:
