At Waddington All Saints Academy, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals, providing them with the knowledge needed to manage the opportunities and challenges of modern Britain, whilst equipping them to be independent and responsible citizens who can contribute positively to their community.

We have a comprehensive PSHE curriculum that covers ‘Living in the wider world’, ‘Health and well-being’ and ‘Relationships’, this builds as pupils move through the academy gradually expanding and deepening their knowledge, skills and attitudes. In addition, our RE curriculum also ensures that pupils have a good understanding of views and faiths different from their own.

We believe that building character, self confidence and resilience is important, and teach this through Commando Joe, exploring the expertise and experiences of inspirational role models. We aim to establish a strong moral foundation so individuals have a positive self image and this is reflected in how they behave and interact with others.

This well rounded approach ensures a wide range of experiences, to support our curriculum in extending beyond the academic and providing for pupils’ broader development as people.
