Term Dates

Padre Philip recently worked with the school to organise a Batle of Britain Workshop for pupils in KS2. The children learnt about the history behind this, interacted with genuine artefacts and had the opportunity to contrast them with some the modern equipment, including a fully inflated dinghy in the studio. Recently, some high profle research has been carried out into the impact of Service life upon children. The outcomes have made interestng reading, although as a school that has worked with this community for decades, there were no major surprises. One thing that was clear however, and is backed up by the research into child mental health, is the need for children to have somewhere quiet to go when they need to.
