Charlie was anxious about going swimming with the school. Then when they got there he was too scared to even touch the water. But then he managed to face his fears and really get stuck in! He now loves swimming with the school and looks forward to the next time they go.

Bethan wasn’t that confident at subtraction. But after 1 lesson in it she was even helping the rest of her table! She then went on to do lots more sums… Fantastic!

Amelia and Zoe worked really hard on decimal numbers this week. And after a difficult lesson they went to Mr Davidson and said “We have broke a learning barrier!” Absolute SUPER STARS! Then in yet another maths lesson they used a number line to work out lots of subtraction. They broke there problem down to make it easier to solve. Perfect double act.

She was petrified of the giant swing but she overcame her fear and did it! She was always very organised. She organised her group in every activity. She let them go first or if they didn’t know what to do she would show them.

The year before Ella did not do any of the high activities at PGL. But this year she did everything. Ella was perfect at the raft building and told all the boys what to do. All of her work is presented perfectly. We are all very proud of her.

Josh is fantastic at getting all the shapes right in art. But when he moved on to the detail he found it was a lot harder than he thought So he tried and tried again until he finally got it! He is amazing.

Sophie has really upped her game. She is always applying herself fully. She did fantastically well designing the opening ceremony dance for the mini Olympic Games. She always goes beyond the obvious. A great role model.

The Olympic Games were super all round. These guys organised the events and put the athletes into there groups and told them were to go to start the race. Aron was part of the opening ceremony team and pretty much lead them through it! He was always happy to share his ideas with the other teams. They also projected there voices in assembly so everyone could hear.
